About The Position

Who you are:

An IT professional with significant experience providing IT support at a business, university or at a military unit.

But you also want to get into Cloud Automation and the DevOps space.

You know how to manage your own time, prioritize work, understand hard and soft deadlines.


What you will do:

  • Install new computers.
  • Provide IT support to HourOne employees (on-site and via zoom). This is the bread and butter of this position and why it is mostly on-site at our Tel Aviv Offices.
  • Manage SaaS solutions (User creation, permissions management etc).
  • Write scripts that automate Cloud resources (AWS, Google Drive etc), this we will teach you.

What you will learn:

  • How to automate away cloud resources using Python, Retool, and various other tools, this we can teach you.
  • How to monitor production systems, manage cloud resources, Basically, this is on the job training for a "DevOps" Engineer.


What you need: (Mandatory!)

  • Significant Experience in System Administration (Managing centralized resources such as Storage, Networks, VPNs).
  • Experience supporting Desktops in Windows and one of (Linux or MacOS).
  • English Speaker (to communicate with our employees who don't speak Hebrew)
  • A will to learn, both from your colleagues and online resources which we will provide.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • High customer orientation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and willing to follow directions and best practices.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player mentality alongside planning and organizing skills.

Nice to have:

  • Experience Automating things with code
  • Python experience
  • Experience with AWS, Retool

*On-Site position (5 days a week from the TLV office)
